Gameplay Changes and Additions

  • Added a normal and easy mode, easy mode gives you more gold to start off with.
  • Made the sword hero battle more skill based through making it more likely for you to fail a dodge and decreasing his damage if he hits you by 2.
  • Made the squirrel battle more skill based, increases chance to fail a dodge slightly and decreased damage to hp and stability done by squirrel by 1.
  • Decreased damage done to player by squirrel when defending by 6 and decreased stability decrease by 4.
  • Made Frinkil battle more consistent, decreased damage to your hp by 3 and increased chance to fail a dodge.
  • Made throwing knife damage based on strength now instead of agility. 
  • Changed golden plate to a sack of 50 gold.
  • Your fights are now displayed as well when you reach the end of a playthrough.

Bug/Error Fixes

  • Fixed bugs that would cause the battle not to end when the player is low on stability.
  • Fixed a bug in the 1st battle that would display 2 pages of stats instead of the usual one.
  • I sorta left some of my developer skips in the game :D those have been removed.
  • Fixed some typos like it saying you killed a squirrel when u killed a frinkil.
  • Fixed the wave boss HP overflowing

Who was the driving force behind these changes?

One of the mobile testers shared their experience of the game being too difficult and not being guided enough to make some of the main choices, this got me to take a look at the early parts of the game in terms of balance and I tested them a bit. I listen to all feedback, whether its on the game's comments or in my discord dms.

What's Next?

Expand the story line length after the wave boss, should be sometime before Sunday.
